Substance Abuse Treatment & Support Groups
Substance abuse affects people from all walks of life and all socioeconomic statuses. Regardless of how a person uses drugs, whether it be for recreational purposes or as prescribed, tolerance and dependance can develop before the user even has a chance to realize it has happened. Drug abuse can alter a person's behaviour and habits, so it is good to know some of the signs and symptoms to watch out for. Examples of these can be found Here.
Free naloxone available at the Linn County Health Department. This is a nasal inhalant used to reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.
Free fentanyl testing strips available at the Linn County Health Department.
