About 92 percent of sudden cardiac arrest victims die before reaching the hospital, but statistics prove that if more people knew CPR, more lives could be saved. Immediate CPR can double, or even triple, a victim’s chance of survival!
The health department has two certified CPR instructors through the American Red Cross. You can obtain a two year certification and a three year certification for first aid. Classes are offered throughout the year and by request. Applicable fees may apply.
