Childcare Facilities

Annual sanitation inspections are conducted to protect children in daycare settings from environmental hazards such as exposure to disease, harmful chemicals and lead hazards.

The environmental health specialist conducts these inspections and works with the provider to maintain a safe and healthy environment for the children. Childcare facilities have been regulated since October of 1997.
